Kayseri 120-Unit Housing Estate

In a three-block housing project in Melikgazi, Kayseri, the kitchen cabinets for 120 flats were produced as adaptations of the Bulvar and Fidan series. The project ran with a fixed unit price and a four-month block-by-block delivery programme.

Installation summary

• Two typical plans (3+1 and 2+1) and eight variations
• Prototype unit and sample approval: three weeks
• Production and installation of 12 flats a week
• Three door colours by block
• 12-month price protection

A weekly progress report and a photographic quality-control form were used for site coordination. After handover a block servicing agreement was signed with the management office; all adjustment visits in the first 12 months were made on a single block schedule.

Result

The project finished two weeks ahead of the planned 16-week schedule. Thanks to the fixed unit price the contractor was not affected by board price rises during the period; only six flats needed a small adjustment visit after handover.
