Çankaya Duplex Kitchen – Pınar

In a 1980s duplex flat in Çankaya, Ankara, a narrow 22 m² kitchen was renewed. The goal was to double storage by using the high ceiling while keeping a classic look.

Installation summary

• Corniced wall cabinets up to 2.95 m with ladder-access shelves
• The U layout shortened the work triangle from 6.2 m to 4.4 m
• A panel front for the built-in refrigerator and a concealment module for the hood
• Quartz worktop and ceramic sink
• Production four weeks, installation four days

The steel water pipe and flue gas outlet of the old kitchen were renewed by the owner's authorised service before installation. The most time-consuming detail was the custom cutting of adjustment feet and scribe profiles on each cabinet run because of the 1980s uneven walls.

Result

After the renovation the total storage volume in the kitchen rose from 2.4 m³ to 5.1 m³. The owner stated that the corner carousel mechanisms and ceiling-height wall units in particular made daily use much easier.
